Children's Ministries

When your children arrive at the Children's Center, they will be greeted by one of our Children's Ministries volunteers. These leaders have completed an orientation and training program, have been carefully screened, and are committed to the safety of your child. A computerized process makes it quick, simple, and safe to check your children in and out of the classrooms. We invite your children to become a part of this growing and exciting ministry. Watch God do amazing things in their lives as they learn more about Him! We can't wait to meet your children and help them feel right at home in our children's community. Elementary and preschool services meet on Saturdays at 6:00 PM, on Sundays at 9:30 and 11:00 AM and on Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Children's Center.

News & Events

Kids Sunday School

Our Sunday school classes, for children ages PK3—5th grade, have been designed to disciple children and will help them become lifelong, active followers of Jesus Christ through stories, crafts, songs and active learning. Each student is assigned to a class by their age or grade level.

Noah's Nursery: Birth - 36 Months

Being exposed to the Word of God through a series of interest centers keeps the nursery busy. Whether it's music, movement, crafts, Bible stories or constructive play, your child will build a solid foundation.

W.O.W. Preschool: PreK3 - K5

In order to aid in their Christian training, preschool children are introduced to stories from God's word, basic Bible truths, scripture verses and songs suitable to this age. Every lesson teaches Christian principles of sharing, kindness and obedience while emphasizing group cooperation and participation. Play time and snacks complete each morning's activities.

Journey Kidz: 1st - 5th Grade

Children's Church is designed for children to express their faith through prayer, service, worship and music experiences. Our services teach life principles from God's word in order for the children to learn how to reach out to their friends, family and community.

For Boys (Royal Rangers)

Royal Rangers is an indoor and outdoor club for boys Kindergarten - 5th grade. Our Outpost Meetings are led by Godly and devoted leaders who take the boys on outings, teach new skills, and show them how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is the Ultimate Adventure for friendship, camping, sports, Bible study, hiking, crafts, and devotions.

For Girls (Girls Ministries)

Girls Ministries is a special place for girls Kindergarten through 5th grade to enjoy fellowship, learning, and acceptance. Our Mpact clubs have monthly themes that teach how God's word relates to the world around us. There are lessons, games, crafts, scripture, and fun...all designed to develop girls spiritually, socially and mentally.

Rainbows: Preschool Boys & Girls

Rainbows is our Wednesday night program for our PreK3 and PreK4 boys and girls. It provides an exciting classroom time for Bible stories and crafts. It also includes full color activity pages and games for this very energetic group of children.

Junior Bible Quiz

Junior Bible Quiz allows 1st - 6th graders to learn the word of God while also learning teamwork, good study habits, and discipline. They practice weekly and have monthly competitions against other churches in the Pen-Florida district. They receive trophies, ribbons, and prizes. Our JBQ team has excelled in State, Regional, and even National Competition. They work hard, and it shows!

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) is a missions program in which children learn about other countries and their cultures, pray for missionaries and people groups and gain general missions exposure. One Sunday a month, BGMC focuses on a particular country. Each month the children save their change in the bright yellow "Buddy" barrels and bring them on BGMC Sunday. All money collected goes toward reaching kids and families around the world.

Parent Involvement

A parent's greatest testimony is the spiritual health of their children. The church is not a substitute, but a resource for children's spiritual development. We strive to empower parents and kids to explore and express their faith in Christ together. (Deuteronomy 6:5-7, 20-21) Our carefully screened and trained staff members surround each child with a loving environment in every class and activity. Contact us by calling 239-936-6277 x338 or email us to see how you can be involved throughout the year:

  • Spring & Fall Outreach
  • Summer Camps

Baby Dedications

For all of our parents, we offer a Baby Dedication ceremony each quarter. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents to present their child(ren) before the congregation for prayer and blessing. There is no age limit for the children, but we do ask parents to email our office and complete a Baby Dedication Application at least two weeks prior to the ceremony. Please CLICK HERE for more information, or call 239-936-6277 x316.
